About the Team

Creative Director

Alana Tivnan is a junior at Arizona State University. This is her fourth semester in the Herberger Institute’s BFA Photography program. In the fine art field, she has worked with both film and digital processes.

Two years in her high school’s Fashion and Textiles classes nurtured her love of design, styling, and fashion photography, while her time at ASU has honed her artistic eye, taught her photographic processes, and broadened her understanding of art.

Upon her graduation from ASU, she plans on pursuing her MFA, or a degree in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Her current goal is to be involved in fashion editorial photography as a creative director for one of the world’s leading fashion magazines.

Monique Pieton is a senior at Arizona State University. She is in her third semester at the Herberger Institute's Art Studies program, and is also earning a certificate in Entrepreneurship.

Monique has always had a passion for effortless style and organization. She cleans out her closet more frequently than she goes shopping- she believes you can’t be stylish if your living space isn’t organized and inspiring. After having been a stylist for clients around the valley, she can’t wait to devote her life to it as a career.

After graduating from ASU, Monique plans to move to New York City to pursue a career as a fashion assistant for Vogue or Harper's Bazaar, and also explore costume design for film and television.

Serena is a senior at Arizona State University, majoring in Art Studies with minors in both Business and Philosophy. She grew up in Arizona and is artistically most interested in using photography as a medium to supplement all of her art ventures and explorations. She has experience in commercial and fashion photography as well as social media marketing.

Serena carries the belief that anyone can pull off a style they appreciate— nothing should limit your ability to tailor a look or idea to your own personal taste and body type. Fashion has always allowed her to push her own perspectives and interests in an immediate and visually expressive way, and she loves fashion as the well-developed art form that it is. Her style doesn't always stay true to a single classification or even share similar elements over time; it simply reflects a beauty and appreciation that she finds in the process of composition and development.

Serena is currently in Los Angeles! She will be our fashion liaison this year - spotting trends, documenting California fashion, and writing articles.
